GLAMPING PODS
Our pods: Willow, Sycamore, Honeysuckle, Silver Birch and Scotch Pine, are ideal for a romantic getaway for two, business visitors, keen ramblers, anglers or nature enthusiasts. Each pod has its own private bathroom with a full size shower, toilet, kitchen with cooking facilities, and BBQ/firepit with outdoor seating.
How many does a pod sleep
Each glamping pod sleeps 2 guests, in a cosy double bed. Unfortunately, due to the configuration of the pod, we do not provide travel cots at this time.
Check in / out
We operate a self-check in
Check in: 3pm - 8pm
Departure Time: 10am
An early check-in of 2pm is available at an additional cost of £10 for all glamping pods.
A late check-out of 11am is available at an additional cost of £10 for all glamping pods.
Pets
We allow up to two small to medium-breed dogs per pod. There is an additional charge of £20 per dog. To accommodate all guests we ask that dogs be kept on a lead and poop must be scooped.
Wi-fi
Previous guests have all enjoyed the opportunity for a "digital detox" and therefore we do not currently offer WiFi in the pods. There is however very good 4G coverage (provider dependent).
EV Charging:
Guests may make use of the Rolec 7kW 32amp EV charging points we have located in the car parks of the holiday accommodations for a cost of £20 per night. Payment is to be made to the office prior to charging.
Firepits/BBQ's
Every lodge has an allocated Firepit/BBQ. Wood can be purchased from an independent onsite provider @ £7 per bag. Remember to bring enough firelighters and kindling wood for your stay.
Practicalities
There is a hard-standing car park situated just behind the pods with a Rolec 7kW 32amp Ev charger.
What to bring
Your glamping pod will be equipped with everything you need for your stay. Bedding, towels and shower basics are provided. We provide non-dedicated outdoor seating although you may wish to bring camp chairs.
Polite Request
Caplor farm operates a Bio Pure water filtration system. Because of this extra caution has to be taken with what enters the drains. We provide shampoo & shower gel which is system friendly but if you would like to bring your own, please use liquid soaps only.
Kitchen
Equipped with a 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer (100L capacity for the fridge & 14L for the freezer), hot and cold running water, kettle, toaster, pots & pans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery.
Cleaning products;- washing up liquid, dish cloths and tea towels.
Service fees
A one-off cleaning fee of £20 per stay will apply to all bookings.
Pricing, Fees & Availability
Our pods are seasonally priced from £90 - £110 per night (2 night minimum stay required).
We can occassionally accommodate a 1 night stay however a single night supplementary fee will apply. Please use the form provided to make an enquiry and we will endeavour to respond as soon as possible.
Other than ongoing promotions which are worth checking in on using the enquiry form provided, guests can also use this form or contact our office direct for discounts on stays of 3 nights or more.
How to find us
Our site should be easy to find. It’s on the B4224, on the outskirts of the village of Fownhope. At the entrance of the lane you will find two wooden framed white signs saying Caplor.
If you are travelling from the M50, we are 10 minutes away once you exit Junction 3. Travel along the B4221 for 2 miles until you reach the B4224 turning left to continue on towards Fownhope. Caplor Glamping & Lodges is located on the left after traveling for approximately 5 miles.
