Caplor Glamping & Lodges is situated on the Hereford to Ross on Wye stretch of the Wye Valley Walk, the route actually runs through Caplor Farm.

Our pods: Willow, Sycamore, Honeysuckle, Silver Birch and Scotch Pine, are ideal for a romantic getaway for two, keen ramblers, anglers or nature enthusiasts. Each pod has its own private bathroom with a full size shower, toilet, kitchen with cooking facilities, and BBQ/firepit with outdoor seating.
How many does a pod sleep
Each glamping pod sleeps 2 guests, in a cosy double bed. Unfortunately, we do not provide travel cots at this time.

We operate a self-check in
Check in: 3pm - 8pm
Departure Time: 10am
Early check-in ( 2pm) available at additional cost.
Late check-out (11am) available at an additional cost.
We allow up to two small to medium-breed dogs per pod. There is an additional charge of £20 per dog. To accommodate all guests we ask that dogs be kept on a lead and poop must be scooped.
We prefer to encourage a "digital detox" whilst onsite, however there is 4G coverage (provider dependent).
Available for use. We do not currently provide firestarters or kindling at this time, however, you are free to bring your own supplies.
There is a hard-standing car park situated just behind the pods with a Rolec 7kW 32amp Ev charger.
What to bring
Your glamping pod will be equipped with everything you need for your stay. Bedding, towels and shower basics are provided.
Caplor farm operates a Bio Pure water filtration system. Because of this extra caution has to be taken with what enters the drains. We provide shampoo & shower gel which is system friendly but if you would like to bring your own, please use liquid soaps only.
Equipped with a 2 ring hob, microwave, fridge/freezer (100L capacity for the fridge & 14L for the freezer), hot and cold running water, kettle, toaster, pots & pans, cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Cleaning products;- washing up liquid, dish cloths and tea towels.
Pricing, Fees & Availability
Our pods are seasonally priced from £100 - £120 per night (2 night minimum for weekend stays).
For stays longer than 3 nights, please contact the office prior to making your booking.
We charge a one-off cleaning fee of £20 per stay.
How to find us
Our site is easy to find. It’s on the B4224, on the outskirts of the village of Fownhope. A the entrances, there are white Caplor signs. If you are coming from the M50, we are 10 minutes away when you come off at Junction 3, you will travel along the B4221 for 2 miles until you get to the B4224. We are on the left-hand side after about 5 miles.
